I'd just like to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to everyone on here for sharing ideas, dreams, giving advice and generally being there for all us brides to be.
It's such a daunting time, and its very easy to get carried away with it all so thank you for keeping my feet firmly on the ground!
I've been on other sites/forums and this one is by far the nicest - people on here are so kind and go above and beyond by being extra helpful. It's a bit like being with your best mates from school!!

(Just having one of those days......where I've been a bit overwhelmed!)

I echo everything you have said.

I had joined another forum, but everyone was spending a FORTUNE on their weddings and looked down their noses on people who bought from Landy/Milly etc and I didn't feel comfortable on there (plus there were a couple of bridezillas lol)

This is by far my favourite wedding forum, and is the first place I head for when I turn my lappy on.

Yep I agree with you all, its great.

My wedding is not till May next year but this board is helping me loads. Prob is everytime I come on (which is alot:D ) I get more and more excited.

My fave thread is the Landy thread because its the one im most interested in as thats where im getting my dress and 4 bridesmaid dresses from.

I want to say thanks as well, I feel like I have a bunch of friends now, espcially with my wedding dress saga, but everyone has given me so much support and some great ideas that I would not have found only for this forum.

I completely agree. Thanks for this thread. I am a member of other forums but certainly wouldn't want to post my MSE ideas as people on them just want to spend spend spend. Tiger x

And me, the only other decent wedding forum I go on is one on my knitting website, Ravelry, but most people are American there so not always relevent. I did sign up to one of the big ones but got bored of bridezillas.

I love this section and it is also my only wedidng forum (aside from a small wedding section - about 2 or 3 posts a day! - on my main internet forum!!)

I'm coming to the end of my planning now (only 5 weeks 2 days left now ) and honestly don't think I could have kept the day under £5k without your help.

I have got about 90 guests to the day which the full works - dinner, favours, wine etc. Can't wait

Ooh, you must be a date twin! I think there's a fair few of us getting married on 23rd May (so not really twins then!).

ETA or maybe you're 24th May, I can't count today...
