Bulk buying rice

My 20Kg sack of (Habib Pakistani basmati) rice ran out a month or so ago (it was one my dad got from the Chinese supermarket 4-5 years ago - and at the time was much cheaper than supermarket prices).
I've been buying plain basmati rice from Tesco, for around £1.70 kilo to put me on until I get my next sack (either 10 or 20Kg).
I just wanted to check, is it still cheaper to buy these large sacks from Chinese/Asian supermarkets, than to buy the small bags from Tesco (i.e. significantly cheaper than £1.70 per kilo)?
Are there any particular brands to look out for?
Does anyone shop at W H Lung Supermarket, in Liverpool, I was thinking of giving it a try on Saturday (and to get my rice then)?

Hi Jonny, a good tip is to go to a Chinese restaurant or takeaway and ask where they get their rice. They often get pretty good deals and they may even order you some along with their delivery, for a small fee of course.0

The Asian Supermarkets in Manchester have very good deals. last time I was there I noticed that they were doing 45kg bags for about £35, loads cheaper than Tesco! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0

Not sure of their prices but I know Costco sell the huge bags of basmati. However Costco is cheaper for somethings but not everything so don't know if it would be worth your while for definate.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
