Hi all you compers. I used to do lots of competitions many years ago but seemed to run out of time so I'm back with renewed enthusiasm to get comping again and I was hoping you lovely lot would help me out. I aim to do as much as I can on-line but know that alot of competitions still require the old snail mail and a stamp. I used to log into a couple of good sites but can't remember the URL's. Which are the best sites now? Does this link keep you pretty much up to date? What about sites like !!!!!! are they any good?
Sorry for all the questions but I know from other forums on this site that you lot are a mine of information and will send me in the right direction.
I'm looking forward to reading your replies
Thanks v. much

Hi Annie,
Could you please let me know the feedback you get, i to am clueless and enthusiastic. I am very interested in knowing the URLs and what sites are good and what bad. I know that !!!!!! is not very good. They offer 1 prize in a typical comp, it runs for a great deal of time and they recieve something like 36,000 entries on average. So say the prize is a weekend trip worth £1000+, your entry will only be worth around 3p...or so thats the way i look at it! What i do know is that this is a good site, channel 4 is a good site and loquax is a good site: https://www.loquax.co.uk Sorry Annie, thats all i know....like i said, im clueless.

I couldnt really say that one site is any better than any others as I've had a few wins from all over the place. But generally comps in local or specialist publications are best.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
