You can get a one month free trial to view your experian credit report online. I think the website is https://www.creditexpert.co.uk Make sure you cancel before the month is up though - write it on a calender!

Excellent thanks, done just that! I have had a look at my report and the only things I can spot that are bad is I have 2 late payments with alliance and leicester current account and one with royal bank of scotland...what I dont get is that my virgin credit card account doesn't show I have been late!?

also just to note that I have a mobile phone contract, an old store card and next directory showing on my report....however they are all settled and no longer used......should they be removed?

Cancel a day before the 30 day trial....right let me write that down!
