Use the ginger jam in bread & butter pudding
The stem ginger in stewed rhubarb, or a ginger cake, or chocolate truffles
Chop dates and add to muesli, or make sticky toffee pudding, or date and walnut cake, or have them whole as snacks/in lunchboxes
Use the biscuits as a base for cheesecake, or use with the golden syrup to make a chocolate biscuit cake
Use the golden syrup to make treacle tart, chocolate biscuit cake, sticky toffee pudding, treacle sponge.0 -
Thanks for those.
Can I also add:
Frozen raspberries
Tin of pineapple chunks
Jar of sundried tomatoes in olive oil (can I put these into a pasta sauce?)
A lot of frozen sweetcorn
Thanks again everyone!1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

You sure can. I would drain them first , adding more olive oil from the jar to yuor own taste. Sweetcorn can also go in pasta sauce.
Frozen raspberries = Smoothies? Whizz up with some milk. PIneapple - pizza, eat on its own as fruit, use to moisten a carrot cake , use frozen sweetcorn to bulk p sandwich fillings as well - eg tuna and mayo.
Some pretty good ideas there before me. Heres a useful site, cooking by numbers , give it a wee bash and it should give some interesting answers.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
