Engery Tracker £2.25 Wilkinsons

If you want to track your energy use but don't have an owl.

I bought a proteam energy tracker when you plug the appliance in to it and then plug it in to the socket.

Was £8.99 75% off so paid £2.25.

You will of course need to check if you local does sell them.

Woohoo - picked one up in Kingston today.

I only saw one and it was on a 'sale' fixture that had a right mix of items - toiletries, electrical goods, vases and pictures etc. Most of the things on there were 50% or 75% off but I was very good and only purchased the energy monitor.

I have an owl monitor as well but something in the house seems to be using a lot of electricity so hopefully this will pin down the culprit!

Well done on getting one sprogs - maybe report back here what seems to be using a lot of electricity - maybe useful for others to know too.

I didn't see the energy monitor but picked up 6 cushions normally priced @ £4 each but had 75% off so a quid each, lovely saving of £18.

Will do. I suspect it is my very old chest freezer - a freebie from freecycle, but if it costs a fortune to run it probably isn't worth it. It's in the garage and I know that's not ideal....

Sprogs - ah the chest freezer, I noticed a big difference when I got rid of an old one. Be interesting to know.

Loads at Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham this lunch time. At the end of an aisle by the tills. They were marked with the 75% sticker but also another sticker reducing them from £12.99 (I think) to £8.99.

There was also loads of photo frames with 75% off and table/bedside lamps with either 50% or 75% off.

    Happy shopping.
