Sorry to hear about this situation. According to Westminster's website, blue badge holders can park for up to 4 hours in an orange/blue badge bay for 4 hours in the working day, and unlimited time afterwards. I seem to recall this is a fairly recent change of policy.

You don't say what time it was, or whether you parked in a designated place. Additionally, if the rules have changed they may not apply retrospectively. But it might be worth looking into this and trying to make the case?

Challenge the charges. Ask them to put in writing how this amount was reached. Are the bailiffs certified? Only certified bailffs can add charges.

In this day and age, the medieval creditor 'remedy' of using bailiffs is outragous. This makes me so angry.
