Hi moneysavers,
Bear with me this is my 1st post :rotfl:
Most of you will think im mad, but due our first baby ( a lil boy! ) in August and have decided on the bugaboo cameleon. Being so expensive, am not paying full price for it, and dont want second hand as the pram the one thing we want new! Any help would be extremely appreciated!
We applied for a 5% cashback creditcard, use cashback websites, and have the 10% mothercare code, but am trying to beat that.
Thanks!!
Lou

I think that you probably have the best idea already. Mothercare, with code, via quidco on a cashback credit card.
I would not buy something as heavily used as a pram from an online retailer. I spent a lot of money on my latest & last buggy (a double P&T) & it's been back into mothercare 4 times for new parts. Each time they have been wonderful and replaced the faulty part instantly.
If I'd bought it through an exclusively online retailer as I'd originally tried (they failed to deliver on time), I'd be fuming, & still be without a working buggy.
Other than that you sometimes find John Lewis sells some last season or unpopular colour fabrics in their online sales.0 -
thanks for that, just needing a 20% code for mothercare to appear hehe there hasn't been one for ages!:starmod:Mummy to my beautiful prince 01/09/09:starmod:

I bought my P&T with the last one....november '08 I think!0 -
BTW, if you have any plans to have a second before the bump turns 3, perhaps consider the icandy instead. This advise comes from LOTS of friends expecting no 2 now, & realising the bugaboo buggy board is useless with the buggy in pram mode.0

thanks for that sooz, although we are pretty young and want a nice age gap inbetween kiddies
We shall see how we get on with this one 1st hehe The icandy is nice but we prefer the bug

i got both may prams (silver cross XT and Phil and Teds) from Glasgow Pram Centre. they guarantee to beat other companies prices although not too sure if it would include any deals or discounts you could get with say Mothercare.
They do free delivery and aftercare service is ok.
i had a few problems with my phil and teds and they provide the spare parts to you/fix it, you usually have to wait until they send it out to you which can be a pain.0
