How much for washing machine repair

Hi all

Does anyone know how much a washing machine repairman will charge for a call out. I think it is the rubber seal that is attached to the drum it keeps leaking and I have ignored it for a while but it has just completley flooded everywhere. Help. Would be cheaper to replace or fix?

What are are you in? I have numbers for reliable repairmen in a couple of areas who won't charge the earth.

Ards Area. Hubbie being a proper MSE wants to get repair but checked on Hotpoint website and they charge £99 callout.

Just called a guy in ards £35 call out fee told him what the problem was so he is going to order the door seal bit I think it is. Unfortunately the part wont be here until next week. eek :eek: no clean clothes. Thanks for all the help
