Interest Charges

In October 2007, I turned to the CCCS for help as I was experiencing debt problems. They worked out a DMP for me, I wrote to all my creditors informimg them that I was having difficulties, and that CCCS were working with me. All bar one creditor agreed to work with me and the CCCS and for the fasted 18 months it has been going well. However, Halifax Cedit card plc, have not wanted to work with us. They have and are still charging interest on my account, they continue adding interest as well as late payment charges.
I have on several occassions written to them to explain my current situation, and to request that they cease adding the interest, as even thought I make a payment via CCCS on the date set out.
I recent wrote again askin g for my situation be looked at again, which they did, I receveived a letter stating that they are not prepared to cease interest payment on the account. If this situation continues I will owe them more than the intial amount at the time of setting out my DMP.
Can anyone suggest anything I can do, or anyone I can contact to resolve this situation as at this rate I will be in debt for years longer than my initial DMP stated.
Many Thanks
Kevin

As you are in Scotland, you could look at a DAS rather than a DMP.

This would stop the interest and charges and also protect you from court action.
What type of account is this for? Have you tried reclaiming the charges? After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110
