Ideas Please?

Options
Hi Everyone

Sorry if something similar has already been posted!

Basically I start college in August and would like to pay my debts off before then. I am not in a major amount of debt but I worked out I would need to make an extra £130 per month to have it paid off by August. I have tried surverys but I get bored easily and I am looking for something part time as I already work but nothing is coming up. Does anyone have any ideas how I could make this? It's not a huge amount of money!

Thanks in advance.

Do you have things you can sell? You'd be surprised what people will buy on EBay!!!
Other than that, a part time job maybe? Car boot sales? Delivering catalogues? Party host? Even doing some surveys, it all adds up!

Well party plan would be ideal for you as you can work when it around your college life and it is good money if you work at it!

There are various different party planners on here why not read them and see what you think would work for you!

Yea, I think party plan will work for you - you get out what you put in. I work for Usborne books to boost my income and if you want to PM me for more info, the pros and cons and the various things I've tried and failed before then feel free.

    Good luck honey
  • Thanks for the replies guys :D much appreciated!! I had thought about party plan, like Ann Summers etc but I don't drive and didn't think it would work?!

Do you have any older friends or relations that would like some little jobs doing, tidying the garden, cleaning out some cupboards etc, jobs they struggle to do themselves, and are more than willing to pay for one off help.

Bar work pays quite well & this should fit round your existing job, I used to do office cleaning as this is usually early morning or evening work, the other thing I do are listed on my sig.

You don't need to drive - the kits aren't that big, a bus or taxi ride should be far enough that you would want to travel. Or you could host them in your house?

mystery shopping could make you this kind of money. i make about £100 per month plus loads of free stuff and i work full time so can't do much during the week.

it's pretty easy work and quite good fun!

How do you do that? I'm signed up with some MS companies and there just seems to never be any jobs!

I agree, I have signed up to loads, and it's not like I live in the outback either. I live in Aberdeen so I would have thought there would be some visits applicable.
