Oh this thread got a bit heavy!  :(

I think that before people (and I'm talking in general here) get worked up they need to sit down and think about what was said, perhaps even ask them what they meant by their post! Its arguments like this that put new users off the site!

Another method for blackheads/spots:-

Rub some raw potato over the area. (this tip came from my Mother circa 1920's ). Potato peelings will do (from old potatoes not new potatoes )

I used to use fuller's earth in my teens aswell - such a long time ago, I'd almost forgotten!
I think we also used to grind brewers yeast tablets and make into a paste with warm water and then slather it on and leave until dried. If you could bear the smell of it!

Cathy, I'd love to know, how did you find out about the milk of magnesia? Did you have a little too much excess one night, take some milk of magnesia, miss your mouth and end up with beautiful blackhead free skin in the morning? ;D ;D ;D ;D

still using the momg, a couple of girls at work have asked what i have een using as my skin is so much clearer. oooh said one, i'd never do that, i only use loreal. nice if you can afford it, but face still not as clear as mine and purse a lot emptier said i. so there. thanks cathy, my skin looks fab.
