I probably have in the past, yes. Don't bother to look up my posts from a year ago, I think I did as regards the Icelandic banks.
I'll admit my post was a little tongue in cheek, but I do have a serious point, which is something along the lines of: no one really knows what's going on. Everyone in the media and on here will spin the news to fit their own agenda, even if it is subconciously. Good news is ramping, and bad news is doom-mongering; or vice versa, depending on your perspective.

Oh, and the English definitely is pretty terrible, 'On a number of building societies and lenders', as if building societies aren't lenders. 'Bank Financial Strength Rating's' Shouldn't have an apostrophe.
