earnings to borrowing ratio

hello guys

i'm interested to know how much people earn and what they have borrowed/monthly repayments figures.

im trying to get a perspective on what other people pay

    Yeah, it is a bit too much information to be giving out. There's a thread somewhere where people post % income which goes on mortgage - either search for that or post something similar would be my advice. My mortgage is 22% of take home pay if that helps.

    I have just searched for the thread but unfortunately I must be using the wrong 'key words'.
    If anyone has a link it would be appreciated as it would help me calculate an affordable mortgage too.
