Well I plan to buy myself a pick n mix salad from Sainsburys for lunch £1.49
Hopefully not much else but may book a holiday not Canada unfortunately (our pre MSE/lightbulb destination) but Cornwall. We have found a cottage that we are going to rent £500 for the week in the summer. I know this is still quite a bit and could have found a cheaper one but Oh and I have been searching all weekend and this one just suits us completely. So we'll either pay the 20% deposit or the whole amount today covered by our savings - we've managed to squirrel away some money since starting our debt blitz, makes me wonder what on earth did we spend money on in the past? Goodness only knows!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -
Hey everyone,
Hoping for a no spend day today & tomorrow. Had one yesterday and Monday too.
Living to this £20 a week budget is really hard - I spent £8 on Saturday, then got a £2 coin so that went in the tin, then bought a post office stamp (am saving up for my car tax on 31 August), then got ANOTHER £2 coin when posting eBay parcels (comes out of a different account so don't count this in my £20 a week) so had to buy this off myself (does that make sense?) and now have £3 left - only plans are to go to meet a friend on Friday after work so hoping for cheap glass of wine in old man's pub!
Sorry this was a bit rambly!
Loubielou - I think Pixie's thread is for yesterday so you're okay!

Well I don't go far so spend little through the week. However I do spend more on the internet, mainly ebay at the moment, but I am buying for our baby due in 8 weeks. Don't need much as I have 2 already, but have got some bargains on ebay that have saved me pounds. Cot bed for £70, reusable nappies for £11.50 when they'd cost about £40 new etc etc. Other than that a few craft bits as I have set up an online shop to sell my crafts and needed a few supplies, but not a great deal as I've collected a lot over the years. So today I predict....£0 but we shall see.
