Dixons/Currys free delivery (over £49) on 8th March 2006

The Dixons and Currys websites are down this morning and to say sorry both are offering customers free delivery on orders over £49, as long as you order by midnight tonight (8th March). Presumably they'll be up and running again before midnight...

The code to enter is FREE49. I remember this happened a while back but I didn't order anything so I've no idea whether the code worked (maybe someone who did can confirm). The PC world site's also down but no such offer from there, strangely enough.

For reference, this is what Currys say:

Thank you so much for posting this offer.

I've been wanting a tumble drier from Currys for a while but the postage has been putting me off.

Yesterday I managed to order it with no p&p charges and it was £10 less than the in store price - and to make me even happier they can deliver it next week when I'm on annual leave! :j
