A Plan Of Action: Things to focus on

Lately, my mind has been dithering over certain things, in order for me to process everything, to make the right leap in the right direction. With this in mind, I need to focus on some goals to get me from one place to the next I think. Whilst unfocused is when my mind starts racing. It's not really a 'diary' but a gathering of thoughts, goals to aim for:
1) Get Ebay back soon; not been selling for a while on there, and I need to start doing it again if only to get some income in to pay bills
2) Aim for getting out of the area I am presently living in as it's not doing me much good, except dragging me down with what I see around me all the time; but I need to anyway to escape another situation with a family member as it's also pulling me down;
3) Once and for all decide what it is I want to do with voluntary work; long overdue
Just things to keep my mind focused more than anything and to reach for these things step by step. Very often they come within my grasp, then get snatched away by circumstance(s).
So, if I can start to generate income again (as I was before with Ebay) I can also begin to concentrate on what is important to me right now. And begin to take back my life once and for all. Then, I can see whether the situation is a dire as it appears.

Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Hey Merlin, please do take time out for yourself - you are the most important person in your life so do whatever you need to get yourself in the right frame of mind. Having targets is very helpful so well done for putting together a list.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)

Hey Merlin,
That's a great start.
Once you can occupy your mind with something productive it starts to function more efficiently and effectively in other areas too. I know old sayings can be a little patronising and over quoted but the Chinese saying "A journey of a 1,000 miles starts with a first step" is so relevant to the problems surrounding debt and bankruptcy.
I never wrote a diary but I did have a clear structure to what course of action we were going to take. Inevitably, it went awry at times, but that's what plannings all about; plan, review and move forward.
Regards

I am one of those who is a great planner in my head, what I want but when it comes to the writing down that's when it hits the proverbial stumbling block. I used to do it a while ago but got out of the habit. I was a terror in one job, for example, for making lists all the time. I just wanted everything in order, where I knew it was, structure.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Hi Merlin,
I have a notepad that I carry everywhere with me, and then it doesn't matter where I am, or what time it is, if something occurs to me I can make a not of it. That way I never have a load of things going around in my head.
I've got a Word Template that I complete at the end of each week with all the jobs that need doing the following week, and their priority level. And then another Template when an important decision has to be made with all the For's and Against's of each option, and a weighting against each.
I seldom find myself bogged down with minor details, or assailed by the possible impact of important decisions. Commit your thoughts and plans to paper and leave your mind free to think creatively.
