Hi guys, I was hoping you clever and imaginative people could give me a couple of ideas for dinner! I've twisted my knee so can't get to the shop and my food delivery doesn't arrive until tomorrow.
At the moment I have the following in:
1 tin of chopped tomatoes
1 bag of quorn chicken pieces
quorn sausages
frozen peas
frozen mash
red split lentils
cheddar
onions
basmati rice
sun dried tomatoes
tinned tomato soup
vegetable stock
flour
veg suet
gravy granules
various herbs and spices
The only meal that is jumping out at me is sausages and mash but my fussy OH "doesn't fancy" that tonight!
What would you make?

How about a sort of 'quorn cassoulet' (or curry if you have spices available too).
Fry up onion (add spices if you have these).
Add quorn chicken bits till browned.
then add tinned toms and some frozen peas and stir well. (add dried herbs if you have any).
Bring to boil and simmer for while, till peas are cooked.
If you need to add water, then best to use stock made with gravy granules very diluted.

Jolaaled beat me to my suggestion. I'd probably through in some sundried toms too. You could add red lentils too.
Or ask your fussy boyfriend to think something up (my OH would accept sausage and mash if he was faced with thinking about an alternative receipe too!)0 -
I'd whizz the tinned toms or use the tomato soup, add chopped onions, peas, chicken and and other veg you have in a casserole dish and top with sage and onion dumplings to make a chicken and tomato cobbler.37 mrstwins squares, 6 little bags, 16 RWB squares, 1 ladies cardi, 4 boobs, 20 baby hats, 4 xmas stockings, 1 scarf, 4 prs wristwarmers0

I don't know how your spice selection is, but you could try a quorn version of Chicken with red lentils and serve with basmati rice with peas?
