My washing machine has finally gone to Washing machine heaven and I am not very good at finding good deals. I have however found a Graphite Hotpoint machine at Dixons using a discount code for £250 with free delivery which seems good. May I ask if any of you lovely people know of any good deals please?
The machine I found was Hotpoint WML540G and is £322 at Tesco Direct and £258 at Comet.
Are Comet and Dixons under the same company???
Thank you all in advance

I started looking for a new washer yesterday. My old Indesit finally packed in after 10 years very hard labour. I think I'm going to get this one.

Hotpoints are rebadged Indesits these days. Good or bad you decide.
Comet and Dixons are different companies.
You have PC Dixons Curry World, which is a different group to Comet who are owned by KESA Electricals.
If it were me I'd buy a Bosch, or if I could afford one a Meile. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Correct.
I've been looking as I say and there are concerns regarding Hotpoints now being produced in Poland. I'm only advising on the Indesit because the old one was good, pot luck whether a new one will be.0 -

Fair call mate but I think the 1200 spin is worth the £20 and I think it's 6kg load.0 -
Tesco are selling a Zanussi ZWF 1421 1400 rpm washing machine instore for £169.
Thanks to beatmaster on HUKD for this. This is what he posted.
Spotted in Tesco @ Kingston Park. Have been getting stock in as just picked one up so worth ringing around and seeing if your local Tesco Extra has one in.
Was £229, Now £169 - Save £60
Product Description
The Zanussi ZWF1421W washing machine can take a 6kg wash-load so you can wash larger loads less often, saving time, detergent and energy. Zanussi's Aquacycle technology ensures a good performance while saving water as specially designed lifters cascade the wash water through the load. Among the many wash programmes, there's an easy iron option to minimise creasing and reduce your ironing time.
The Zanussi ZWF1421 washing machine has A-rated energy and wash performance and its 15 wash programmes can take care of a 6kg load with 1200rpm spin speeds. Its easy to use - simply select the fabric type, press 'start' and leave the machine to select the best programme. With half load, easy iron, quick and hand wash options selectable from an easy-read push button fascia with 2 rotary controls.
The Zanussi ZWF1421's extra large porthole (30cm in diameter) makes loading or unloading far easier, and the sequence indicator tells you the current status of the machine. You'll also appreciate the 4 stage delay start option which allows you to run your wash when it's most convenient. This means you can now manage the noise level in your kitchen and make the most of cheap-rate electricity when available.
Zanussi washing machine tubs are constructed from HiCarboran, a unique and hard-wearing polymer-based material which reduces wear and tear, and cuts down on noise and vibration.0 -

ask here - they'll tell you, and they're the blokes who install and repair washing machines and other white goods - can't recommend them highly enough. Also make sure you look at

again, a great source of info and advice. If you spend a bit of time on this you end up buying a washing machine that meets your needs and at the best price - it can be a fag doing the research, but it definitely pays off!Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
Have a look on Electrical 123's website.
I recently puchased a Beko Frost-Free fridge freezer and a Beko 1200 spin 6kg load washer for £400 altogether including free delivery. Saved over £60 by emailing them and asking them if they could cut me deal if I purchased two items.TOTAL DEBTS

Just to warn you that no nobody else has been able to corroborate this. Another poster phoned their local store and were told it is actually closer to £300. Worth trying Kingston Park if you live near there but don't make a special trip anywhere without phoning first.0
