Blimey, this thread had slipped down to page 13 (:eek:!!!) - note to self: must post 20ps more regularly!!;)

Anyway, I've got 3 more this week so another 60p in the old smartie tube (which is looking a bit battered now - maybe I should splash out on a new one once this one is full...it has been re-used 5 times now!!:rolleyes:).

Welcome to littlestar1981 :hello: - you'll soon notice them mounting up and its a very pain-free way to save!:D They fit very nicely into a smarties tube (and its a good excuse to have to eat chocolate! :whistle:), but it really doesn't matter where you save them...as long as you do!:p

Could you please add me to the list of savers? I actually save most of my silver coins, but I'd like to keep a tally of each. 20p coins seem to come around a bit more often than the £2 ones. I'll start my balance at £0, and count up what I have and post the total soon.

Hi Tesscha :hello: - welcome to the club! I don't think we have a official "list" of savers as such, so we mostly just all log on and post an update occasionally, and keep a record in the footnote of our posts. You're right about the 20ps turning up more often than the £2 coins - and its not so noticeable when you take them out of your purse either, so it is a really pain-free way to save!!:T

I've managed to gain another 7 in the last few days, which brings the total in the smartie tube to £8.00 exactly now (+ £40 already banked!) - still having issues deciding what to spend it on though...:p
