Lost fans

Been wanting to buy lost dvds for a while just keep checking the offers now and again but tonite ive found lost season 2 part 1 has been reduced drastically in some online shops. the rrp for it is £34.29
Tesco £5.97
Asda £5.23
zavvi £4.95
chips world £5.49
love film £5.43

hmv have not followed suite and have kept theres at £34.99 which is above the rrp. If anybody sees any over lost bargains please let me know. I used zavvi tonite and used 4% cash back with quidco so really ive payed £4.76 saving a massive £29.53

It's not really saving you £29.53 if everybody except HMV have reduced their prices. Anyway, when you have watched the series can you try to explain it to me, pls tks. :rotfl:

I started watching Lost when it first came out but lost interest a bit. But tempted to try to get back into it so may give it a go as its so cheap at the moment. Thanks

I would only consider buying whole series. This part 1/2 split is only to get you to pay more for the same imho.

You still have to get the series 2 part 2 cheap now

If you get yourself BT Vision you can watch the 1st 4 series on demand for FREE whenever you want. Good deal to me as to be honest you'll never watch the DVD again so you're better renting it or getting a loan of it from somewhere

Have you looked on Amazon. Sometimes people sell used copies on there (usually excellent condition because they watch them once then sell them). Not checked lately but it might be a worth a try.

Editing to say I've just looked and they're not that cheap lol.

Sorry 'bout that. Might be worth keep checking though in case a bargain comes up.

Sounds to good to be true - and is in some respects...

£5-6 is a great price for any part of any lost season - the problem is the other part is still retailing at £25-30; meaning total purchase price is a good £10-15 higher than buying the entire season one or two which are currently selling for around £25 at Play and HMV.

HMV were selling the entire season 3 for £14.99 a week or so back - not sure if that's still the case - but that was a great deal!

Asda currently have seasons 1-4 in for only £20 each.

Myself I've just bought seasons 1-3 in the fancy box set off ebay for £37 free p&p. Only watched once, immaculate condition
