Compensation

I have been awarded £100 compensation from the CSA after a really bad service from them...basically it has taken 12 years to get any maintenance off my ex...changed from CSA1 to CSA2...seemed to bang my head against a brick wall when ever i contacted them and then it went clerical. So from advice on here i went to my MP which did the trick!:D.

The CSA havnt told me about the compensation, this info was in the letter the CSA sent my MP, who photocopied it and sent me the copy. The letter from the CSA was dated 24th March.

My question is how long does it take to send it me? Will they wait for my first maintenance payment next month..or seperatly...is there a time scale??

Personally, i am not holding my breathe for this payment after my experience with the CSA.

Thanks

They should send it quite quickly - but it is totally separate from any maintenance payments.

Why dont you give them a call on the telephone number on the correspondence regarding this and ask them, if you dont get a proper answer, then write to them recorded delivery.
  • Thanks for that. Ill give them a call i suppose. I just hate phoning them.

I have been dealing with the CSA for over 10 yrs now and have had major problems with my case, but i will be honest and have found 95% of the staff really polite, helpful (despite some of them not knowing their left from right) and have tried to help me with whatever my query was (not always successfully) so dont worry just get on to them and persevere!! good luck
