new self employed tax returns

I work for a telesales firm cash in hand no pay packets just cash on a friday which i then pay into my sole trader account.

I have been doing this for 2 1/2 months I pay £1000 per week in, should i get an accountant?

What do i need do to get my tax return done?

I had always been paye before this.

Have you registered as self employed with HMRC? if not, you need to do this asap as you only have 3 mths from starting to register. If you are not sure what to do, I think you shuld see an accountant - apart from anything else, you need to be keeping records of expenditure as well as income. You will need to self assess by 31.10.10 if its going to be done online.
