Ribbon

I am struggling to find any Graham tartan ribbon that isn't wool. The wool one costs a fair bit of money so I was just wondering if anyone had found a site that does polyester ribbon for the more apparently unsual tartans....

Any suggestions greatly received....

Gosh that is a tough one to find eh?

I got mine from tartan-ribbon.co.uk - they also sell on ebay. The Graham isn't done in ribbon at all according to their site, but they have a 'nearest match' if that's any good to you?

PLEASE NOTE . . . only around 40 tartans are produced in proper ribbon and the Graham is not one of them: searching our database of around 7,500 registered tartans we believe this is the closest alternative to the Graham tartan.

I suppose what you want it for will make a big difference too - if you only want it to go round a cake then a one off of £12 isn't a massive expense in the scheme of things, but then if you wanted quite a bit then it would cost a small fortune

Will keep looking out for you x

This may be of some help to you...... tartan ribbon

Also, I'm curious about the Graham link as my father's family are linked to the Grahams of Montrose....maybe we're distantly related!

Thanks guys...I think we are going to have to bite the bullet and get one lot of the more expensive ribbon and then the other tartan we can get in the poly kind....

It's to go down the table so we need a decent length...

Floss my nana was half scottish and she was a lowland Graham so I think that may be more the Menteith than the Montrose ones...We decided to bring it out a bit for the wedding seen as I am marrying a Scotsman....
