hi i am thinking of applying for a debt management plan. do i have to inform my work about this as i work for an fsa regualted company and i know someone who did have to tell my work that they entered an IVA. i can afford my monthly outgoings (minimum) but i have so many bits and bobs everywhere with different creditors. is it possible just to have one bill that pays everything whether DMP or not? i hope i have posted in correct area. thanks

I would imagine it would say somewhere in your contract if you needed to inform then. A DMP is different to an IVA though so might not be the case.
If you can afford your payments starting a DMP will affect your credit rating. If you want just one bill why not open a new current account and get all your direct debits to come out of it and once a month pay in the total amount of money needed to cover all the payments. In effect 'one bill'. DO NOT use it for anything else. The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.
