Not sure how much your willing to spend but I bought last week

axim 520 from dell (£200)
gps from ebay (£40)
1GB memorycard from ebuyer (£25)

this will do wireless & bluetooth so will operate tomtom software fine.

It's all working very well & I'm quite impressed with it. I think the deal on the 520 has ended now but there is a new deal on the next one up.

A site called totalpda.com has been recomended to me for refurb PDA's if your looking to spend less but when I looked there wasn't enough price diference between a refurb & a new one so I got a new one in the end.

Is that a bluetooth GPS? If so, can you link me to it, as she needs one that will definitely work with tomtom.

no probs - this is the one I got.

works fine with Axim 520 over bluetooth & tomtom - also works fine on my mates IPAQ with tomtom.

you should be able to get one about 10 quid cheaper making it £40 inc postage if you can be bothered to wait for the auctions to end - if not this bloke has plenty of them on buy-it-now & has sold me mine as well as selling one to my mate with the ipaq 6 months ago.
