Landy/Milly - When to order?

I am planning on getting my dress, my bridesmaids dresses and my flower girls dress from Landy or Milly.

We are getting married April 24th 2010 and I wondered when I should think about placing the orders? I'm concious that it's chinese New Year before my wedding and that they will be busy after this.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

You could email them and see when they thought it would be best. Personally if I had your wedding date then I would probably go for ordering in early december as this gives them time to get it done in plenty of time?

I was thinking about the end of the year sometime. Don't want to order too early incase of weight issues with me or any of my 3 bridesmaids! Also my daughter is bound to have a growth spurt between ordering the dress and the wedding!

I would say sooner rather than later, just in case there are any problems with any of the dresses or any alterations are needed. As an example, my dress from Milly had a small split in the seam and was too fitted at the hips. I also decided that it was too heavy to wear for a late June wedding. So I have had to send it back and have had to look for an alternative dress.

Fortunately I found one in Phase Eight, so didn't need to worry about ordering from a bridal store who usually ask for at least 3 months as if I hadn't I would have been struggling as I am tall and no samples that I had tried on in the sales had been long enough.
