Quidco Help

Hello

I just joined Quidco and I have just signed up for o2 home broadband through Quidco (for £70 cashback)

How long does it take normally for it to show as a tracking transaction?

Just I am getting worried because when I went back to read about the tracking of transactions it said that you have to check something with your cookies.

Well I am using the work internet (becasue obv I dont have home internet yet lol) so I dont know if I can check cookies (they disable loads of things on the comps here)

So I am just worried that it didnt work and I wont get my £70 now :(

I think it's better before you do a transaction that you delete all your cookies, although I never do it and have had problems in the past only once when an insurance attributed my transaction to another user and nothing could be done about it - won't be using that one again ;). I don't know what would happen with a work computer. Would they not use the cookies to track your footsteps so the cookies will be available for Quidco?

I also find that the time taken to track a transaction can vary greatly depending on the merchant.

Just a word of warning: make sure the transaction is done wholly online. I've had problems a couple of times with mobile phone companies where the transaction seems to go through on Quidco and then nothing happens so you ring them up and bingo your transaction in invalidated and you can't get cashback (happened to me once with Carphone Warehouse and once with Virgin)

    Ah right thanks

Yeah the whole thing was done online and I didnt navigate away from the page (that I had clicked on through the Quidco link)

Yeah I guess you might be right? work might keep the cookies active so they can see users footsteps?

I just hope it went through lol

I was gutted when I was looking on Quidco cos I just got Sky+HD installed today and I found out today I could have got £120 cashback from Quidco if I had gone through them, but I only heard about Quidco this morning :(

    Ah well nevermind lol
