AA breakdown with £20 Boots Voucher

In the Saturday paper was an AA advert that said the normal price for AA was £35 but if you apply online quickly you will get a £20 Boots Voucher.

Has anyone tried going through Quidco.com to buy this AA Offer??

Quidco pays £19 minimum so you could potentially get 1years AA + £20 voucher + £19 all for a spend of £35.
You would be paid £4 to have the cover.

Has anyone else spotted this??

I went through quidco and got the cashback which is currently validated, no sign of a voucher yet though. I did this on feb 13th.

I phoned AA and they said that Boots Voucher was only for Phone membership applications only, their advert saying online as well was wrong!!
Still a good price of £19 cashback from Quidco though.

Surely if that's what they advertised they have to send the voucher out?

Not at all - a popular misconception. Like mispricing - they don't HAVE to sell you anything at the advertised price if it's wrong. No contract has taken place - it's an 'invitation to treat'.
  • Thanks for your posts about purchasing AA Breakdown cover. Unfortunately the 2 offers are not available in conjunction with one another.

The £20 Boots voucher can be obtained online when responding to our press campaign only and applies to AA Breakdown from £35.

For our separate cash back offer on Quidco you will receive £19 cash back for AA Breakdown cover from only £27! Click here for more info - http://www.quidco.com/aa-uk-breakdown
