'Mortal Engines' by Philip Reeve, the Blue Peter 'book I couldn't put down' of 2003 and Smarties gold award winner, is free with Kraze club magazine( April) which costs £1.99. This book is the first in a series of 4 and is meant to be very good for the reluctant male reader, though its not an 'easy reading' title.
My son ,who is 9, loves this magazine as it covers football, films, games pokemon, books and has lots of competitions.
Sorry if this should go in mag offers- thought it was a bit different from the usual.
