Looking to advertise some bits and pieces for sale without the advertising fee. Was hoping for a local classifieds, not ebay

'Ads for free' paper only accept a landline telephone number, which I'm reluctant to give out.

Is there anywhere online to advertise?

Do you have to put your landline number in the actual ad on Ads-for-free? It's been a while since I advertised anything, but I know that they let me put a mobile number in the ad as long as I provided a landline number for their records.
  • buyandsell.ie its free to advertise (some options cost moneythough)

This was the case when i advertised with them, the land line was for their records, they only printed my mobile number as requested

Gumtree is probably the best because you can get a photo on there free and the chance of instant response on the internet

Also you can remove it immediately when sold

The problem with print media is once its printed you can't cancel
