Bathroom Suppliers...

We're just about to start building a house and hopefully more experienced MSE'ers on here have info and experience they can pass on! We dont necessarily want to go into really flash showrooms and therefore potentially pay through the nose, but we dont want poor quality either!

Therefore can anyone advise where to go for decent bathroom / sanitary ware?

spendlove c jebb have had some very good offers in the past so worth a look into! They are in Belfast and Enniskillen and im sure other places....went today myself but they were closed.......still easter obviously,lol.

Also have had friends get some ab fab bargains in Ray Grahams in newtownards.........hit or miss im sure but again worth a call into! ( will be calling intp both places asap myself so will let you know!!)
Im in the same boat as you with building at the mo so im interested to hear if you spot a good bargain!

We used the plumb centre in Bangor (although they are in other locations as well) and were more than happy with them. It does help that DS is a plumber and we got everything at the plumbers discount rate but I didn't feel their normal prices were OTT.

just to update- i found a really cheap bathroom suite on screwfix direct and guess what........they do free delivery to NI :T

i like the above one at a bargain £195.74 but they do a cheaper one at £176.16!!!

We are just fitting out our self build and we got our bathrooms in Homebase. They were in the half price sale, and they had an day with extra 20% off for friends and family (found the printable voucher here on MSE). They also had a free shower if you spent £1000 and as I was spending over £2000, I asked if I could have 2 free showers and they said yes.

We priced lots of other suppliers and this was the best at the time.

I work in one of the jebbs, ask to look at the fressh range, quite cheap. then go for discount and you should get 25 to 30% off. never repeat this in the store or i could be in trouble

If you were looking at Wickes you must be in GB. This is the NI thread and I doubt the site you mention delivers to NI except a huge expense. A problem consumers here face all the time.
