Benefits of working for the DWP

Hi, a question for those working for the DWP......what kind of benefits are there when working for the DWP? For example I currently work for the NHS and we get a good pension scheme, a good amount of A/L, various discounts at shops and resterants etc. Also what is the amount of annual leave given by the DWP per year? I start with them on June 1st hence all the questions!!! Thank you.
Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!

Hi, Probably not much help but I get 6 weeks holidays and 10.5 public holidays. I also work flexi time so can take extra days off. You dont get that much days off for a start but I cant remember how much it is.I think it is 22 rising to 25 then 30. There is also a discout site if you are buying on line to save you quite a bit. Good luckin your new job.
