Any cheap ferrys to Scotland in August

Hi folks,

We hope to go to Scotland by car ferry in early August and rent a self catering cottage/apartment for 7-10 nights. Its for my wife, 9 year old son and me and we drive a Ford C-Max. So I need 2 pieces of advice please:D

1. Is there any deals or discounts for ferrys to Scotland.

2. Good website to book self-catering cottages/apartments etc. I like to deal directly with the owners.

if you have Tesco vouchers use them towards boat as we have been quoted £325 for car, 2 adults and 3 children for return crossing in July..... luckily we have almost enough vouchers to cover this.

If you try the holidays thread you should get recommendations for accommodation.

Thanks BOBS, yes I have a good pile of tesco vouchers but did'nt know they could be used for the ferry:o

you have to ring stena / p&o direct to book once you have got the clubcard vouchers from Tesco .... divide the price of the ferry by 4 to see how many clubcard vouchers you need.
