You smelt them didn't you? You got to use them?
Then i suggest you make your mind up.
The owner of the business just started up, I dont think there a big corporation like radox etc and that they will give you 2 massive soaps.
Seriously, If you where to spend less than £3 on a a decent size i am sure you will not be disappointed!
Just be greatful for what you get lol Not trying to be rude!
Like someone said its the same cost of a big of crisp (In a real expensive shop! lol)
Info from the site:
I did smell them yes but 70p for a smell? Do you really think that is fair?I didnt get to use them as one of them was too small to use. I made my own mind up and posted for info and invited other people to make their minds up. You will note that someone else was disappointed with their samples.I didnt expect massive soaps but at least as small as say those tiny soaps they give out in hotels etc which are at least big enough to use 2 times at least. One of my slivers was too small to use even once.
I was grateful but it has to be pointed out that this was NOT a freebie. We did pay for the postage. I was the one who said it was the cost of a bag of crisps or slightly more bue this was before my samples arrived and when I was under the impression that small soaps would be sent not small slivers. Sorry but no way are they big enough for anywhere near 6-10 handwashes.

Thanks for the message I got on this site form the soap maker after I commented the size of the samples on here. My samples arrived loose in a ordinary paper envelope no card no cellophane wrap or any other kind of wrap just shuved loose in an envelope. I thought this was very unprofessional if someone is starting a business to make money and sell a product to the public this is their first contact with the company and a small business card in with the samples would have been better or even a stamp on the envelope to say the website or name. Even a small label to remind me what fragrances I had ordered. You should order a free sample from a big company eg Liz Earle to see how it is done professionally. Sorry to be so cross or critical but I objected to your message.0

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on this site it is all very welcome and very useful. I will be totally honest and admit that prior to bank holiday monday this "business" was a hobby that had been kicking around for several years while I had a baby. I have not done much with it and got one request for samples every few weeks. I had the occasional order from friends and family and supply local shops but that is the extent of it. On Bank holiday Monday my site was posted on three different freebie sites without my knowledge. I have tried my very best to manage the correspondance (over 1000 emails) and manage expectation and not make myself broke in the meantime. Maybe I could have managed it all much better and this has been a valuable lesson for me. I only messaged the people who were disappointed personally so as not to discuss it on a public forum. I offered to re-send some samples as I really do not want people to be disappointed and I am maybe taking it a little too personally which is not sensible in business but this is my "business" however small. I am not Liz Earle or any kind of big company but you are right about a business card and soon as I have some made they will be added.
I would have preferred to manage the expansion of my business when I had the stock, resources and time to do it justice but all I was able to offer was samples of stock and hopefully polite and honest communication. The samples sent should have been enough to wash hands at least 6 times, I tested this myself and from a smaller sample was able to wash my hands 8 times and have a shower with a tiny bit left. It is perfectly possible that a smaller than average piece slipped through in which case had I been told I would have rectified the issue. I felt the need to respond to all the feedback personally as it is personal to me and not just a business. I am more than happy for anyone to email me personally with any feedback and I will endeavour to address it honestly. I will stay off now as I think consumers should have a place to air opinions and not have the businesses breathing down their necks, I felt that is was important to explain the situation. I appreciate so much all the kind correspondance I have had and regret any disappointment people may have felt.
Have a lovely day0 -
Loved the cinnamon and oat scrub, really did the job of exfoliating and smell was lovely too.
Orders coming your way soon0 -
I'd like to thank Sarah, for the samples. And well done for trying to keep up with demand :T
Starting up a new business is by no means easy, and to suddenly have 350+ requests is a lot! Big companies often have freebie offers and then send out e-mails saying that high demand has meant they have had to close the offer.
Sarah, has been very open and has continued to send out samples, ok so we have had to pay for postage but if you like the samples you can offset this against a future order.
I think this is a very generous offer I just hope your business benefits from this

Lovely website Sarah, just wondered if you have a minimum amount for orders? I would love to try some as the soaps look fab but would only want to order a couple of bars initially as I have really sensitive skin and am sometimes allergic to things!
Thank you.0 -
Evening
There is no minimum amount for orders just add whatever you want to the cart and add the postage and away you go!
Thanks

I received my samples today, and I think they are lovely. Haven't used them yet but i'm looking forward to it! For th record, I don't know about how the samples were being sent out before but I was very impressed with the presentation, and the size is on the small side if it were from a large company but I think it's right that a small business such as this needs to be careful. After all, however much moneysavers urges people not to get freebies if they don't need/want them, plenty of people will do just that with no intention of a follow-up purchase, in which case this seller could stand to lose a huge amount of money through not portioning her samples sensibly. I know people have paid for postage, and I know that 70p is a lot for a sample, but please try to bear in mind the costs which the seller has explained, and the fact that she was not always charging for postage and at the end of the day does not want to make a loss.
Now, i'm off to try them out!

I ordered the freebies when the postage was 50p, I got two samples which were small but I used half of one for showering for a week and the other half for hand washing so I think the 6-10 washes stated is more than accurate. I love the soap so much that I bought the big gift set. For a one person business I am very impressed with the service.
If you want cheap soap you can get 3 big bars for 20p at most supoermarkets, what this business is offering is hand made soap made from natural ingredients.0 -
Am sure I ordered these samples but haven't received them yet!!0
