Sensitive teeth is something i've never really had, However a wisdom tooth is in the process of coming through and the bit that has popped through is very sensitive, Infact just touching it with my tongue sends a sharp pain right down to my jaw. Any advice on curing the sensitivity?

Could just be that the tooth is sensitive because it is cutting through.
Or there could be some infection.
I would take a pain killer for a few days and if it continues have your dentist check it out.
Hope it settles down soonEverything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Many possible causes.
Get it checked out.How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
