Good to hear you're doing ok NIcki. You know where we are if you need to chat.

I only spent (she says only!) about £100 on dd1 today but then also bought wallpaper for dd2 room and also a small table and chairs with parasol for dd2 that was 25% off in sainsburys so only £13. Bargain couldn;t resist it lol.

Afternoon to anyone about... It looks like things might be starting to look up for me, my old boss is interviewing me for my old job (strange I know, but I think they have to go through the procedure) so fingers crossed. He already knows the answers to regular interview questions so I think it's more likely to be him asking what I've been up to since I left. It was the only job I've ever really been happy in so although the pay isn't great it would be nice to go back at least as a stop gap.

I've spent most of today in town with my friend, he bought me pizza hut which was a nice surprise. I've also managed to spend £100 on clothes today *hides*. Most of it was on two £40 pairs of jeans, but I've always had cheap ones which have never fitted me properly as I have wide hips and a small waist, these ones fit perfectly though, so to be honest I think it's worth it as I'll probably wear them to death. Oh, and I've had £50 become payable on topcashback, I'm waiting til the other £40 for this month does then I'll withdraw the £90 which will come off of the overdraft. I think if I can get this job I'm sorted :D.

I agree with Wendz Jen, if you need it get it. When I've cleared all of my non student loan debt I'm going to save for a double bed as I only have a single at the moment and I miss being in a big one lol.

    Evening girlies,

I hope everybody is well and had a lovely restful bank holiday weekend - just a shame Tuesday was here so fast.

Sorry to hear about your break up Nikki - i hope you're okay. It sounds like you've had a lovely day, so thats nice!

Maria - well done on the new car, i love the Clio Cups, very nice. Maybe when i have a years no claims i might get myself a better car.

Jen - good to see you treating yourself, its really hard to spend money after being on this site, but once you get the hang of it again, you just can't stop, i know from experience lol.

Anybody up to anything good on this lovely evening?

Wow, I think we're almost all here for once! I'm just selling on Etsy at the moment mm, I don't have enough supplies at the moment to sell via a website too. My now ex's sister got engaged last month and she apparently wants me to make the jewellery so I've offered to make it as a wedding present if she gets me the supplies.

I've just been looking at those mattresses Jen, you've got me tempted now! I'm having to really try to hold back, because I've never been a good sleeper I need a decent mattress and the half price ones look like a really good deal. An old boyfriend of mine got a really expensive king size bed which I was all for, but when it arrived I thought it was too big which I never expected lol.
