Are Self Employed people allowed to split up thieir income with Family and friends to lower their tax bruden

As they would need to explain where the money is coming from, and you need to explain where it's going, they would need to register as being self-employed, together with the nature of the business they're in. They would also then need to complete tax returns, either short or full, each year. It can also start to get complicated if the taxman does query things, as to whether they are employees, partners etc. in which case you'd need to take professional advice about setting it all up.
MPs, MEPs etc. can get away with emplying spouses etc. but it's more difficult for the rest of us :mad:0
