Right, this has been bugging me so thought I'd ask as it will drive me insane otherwise (well maybe just a little bit more than I am already
).
Once you've filled in all your forms and are ready to commit to BR do you have to make an appointment with the court or just turn up? I can't seem to find anything written down about applying to the courts but, from the threads on here, folks mention dates for going to court.
Thanks

Thanks, my local is a Combined Court - dealt with a parking ticket (got let off) and my repossession there so its becoming a familar place, but daunting none the less!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500

hey,
i booked the appointment, then filled all the forms in, my court was york and they were fantastic,
booking the appointment first meant that i had a dead line and it worked everything was finished before hand,
good luck

Thanks for that Sally, I'll try and contact the CCCS on Tuesday but might give my local court a call and find out there process as well. I understand your idea with the deadline but I might give that one a miss - very much depends on my kids giving me the time to complete the paperwork!

Funnily enough...I registered with the Insolvency service today and to check my printer worked for the site they opened a pdf of form 6.27 - debtors Bankruptcy petition and I printed it out. Its actually lying next to me on the table. Is that the form I'm going to need to complete? Struggled with reading some of the form but it is late so I'll give it another go in the day light!! It was the tick all that apply boxes - they could be fun! :rolleyes:BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500
