Pampering treat for my mum?

Hi all! I was wondering if you guys could help me!
My mum who is French is coming to visit me in June for a week. I want to give her a wee treat, and since she's never had a facial/massage I though I'd get her to have one when she's over. Does anyone know where I could take her, that would do a facial, and maybe a head massage? The thing is, she is asthmatic, and VERY sensitive to creams and lotions (mainly the smells). So it would have to be something natural and very gentle, but "feel" great too. She is 64. My budget would be around £30....I'm not rich...lol
Any idea?
Oh, I'm in Belfast btw!

For my mother in laws 60th Birthday we took her to Tranquil Waters in Newry. Mini facial around £22 and we also had balneotherapy for around the same price - a jacuzzi type bath with different jets - very relaxing. When we went in the gave us robes and fluffy slippers to wear and there was wine, coffee and fresh orange juice to drink with strawberries and biscuits. It was bliss, and afterwards we went out for lunch. Tranquil Waters is endorsed by The Canal Court Hotel, so we knew it would be good before we went. Recommend it highly. If my post helps you, please click the 'thanks' button. :T0

Thank you! I was thinking more of something we could do in a couple hours, before hitting the town, and in Belfast, as we won't have a car. Just a wee treat in town!0

I wouldn't do the beauty stuff before hitting Belfast as you shouldn't wear make-up after a facial and the oils from the head massage will still be in her hair messing it up. £30 probably won't get you a facial and a head massage unless you look at some of the training colleges. Belfast Met has a couple of beauty schools, I know there is one in Castlereagh College and I think the other is either Tower Street or Brunswick Street. Have you considered maybe phoning some mobile beauty techs or aromatherapists? You can tell them your mum is asthmatic and allergic to certain smells and they can make something up espcially for her or just use basic carrier oils, You could do Belfast and then have them visit in the evening. Dress up the room with lots of candles/tea-lights, a nice bottle of wine, some little chocolates (tesco value 99p ones taste as nice as Thorntons) and then an Indian Head massage and/or facial. Doing it this way, she will be somewhere she is relaxed and get maximum benefit from it and she will be so thrilled you have gone to so much trouble for her. hth0 -
Oh, I hadn't thought of that, that is a brilliant idea! Thanks! :T0
