Tape for newly pierced ears.....

My 11 year old daughter has just has her ears pierced and we need to buy some tape for her to wear during gym lessons/swimming. This is her second piercing (long story - the original holes had to be allowed to close) and last time we bought a basic micropore surgical tape from Boots which she said was "useless" and wasn't sticky enough.

However, in the intervening 2 years she says she has seen other girls with some sort of special tape-like covers  with designs on which of course she would prefer . I've checked chemists and on eBay but just can't find anything at all - does anyone have any ideas????? Many thanks in advance!

MSE would tell her to add her own little sticker herself so she had a unique design:money:

We just used basic micropore, didn't realise there were specially designed ones.

Have you tried Claire's accessories? They are the most likely to carry that kind of [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] tape.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You're so right about Claires...... I really try to avoid it now - but they didn't have anything like that. IMHO I think she's been hallucinating or possibly people used plasters with designs - I'll maybe suggest a nice Barbie one or Winnie-the-Pooh just to wind her up :D. Why a plain piece of micropore won't suffice I do not know......
