Completing the Self Assessment Form

Will the online form automatically decide if it's the full or the short self-assessment that is required? I received my first SA form through the post last week and they sent me the full one (which I'm not sure I should have got).*removed by forumteam - please do not advertise in signatures*0

20% complete but have had to take a break for a bit!
In terms of my self employed period from 6th April 2008 - 30th November 2008 when my business was operating, I kept a log of mileage. Due I claim back the 40p using the SAOnline or a P87, OR am I not permitted to do this?0
