Phoned JL and they will honour the new price after I ordered it at £299 yesterday.
Can't fault their customer service. Took 2 minutes and they have sent me email confirmation of the new price.

I also called to try and get them to honour the price difference, it took a little longer than 2 minutes and some arguing but the manager was very good.

I m happy with mine, it does have a lot of features for a tumble dryer, even a light inside!
I like the large drum, sensor drying, delay timer and the anti crease, it moves the dried washing about a bit for 90 mins after drying to reduce creasing. There are programs for many types of washing but I suspect we will only use one or two regularly.
The Iron aid feature is OK, its basically a 20 minute tumble with steam so the clothes come out hot and slightly damp they are kept in this state until removed. If wet clothes are loaded it automatically dries them first. The results are pretty good if items are hung up straight away even on some linen shirts although for a really sharp finish a quick iron would be needed.

This machine replaces a simple vented dryer and unlike that does emit some warm humid air into the kitchen. But overall a real bargain, a top end dryer for the price of a basic one, two years guarantee from JL too.
