Had a bit of a bad day yesterday - just that time of the month when you feel a bit yucky and down etc so not much to report :o. Treated ourselves to a fish supper from the chip shop being as OH has been out the night before with work and not had to spend a penny!:D Apart from that no spending.

Didn't get any studying done despite having a day off so need to make up for it today and also get on with a few jobs before the weekend.

OH inviting friends over tomorrow to watch the footie so have told him to get them to bring the beers in! I think I will just cook a big curry for them all instead of waiting for someone to suggest a takeway, which our budget cannot cope with at the moment. Also gonna make some cakes (any good recipes anyone?) and use up the ingredients I already have in the cupboard and maybe a batch of Twinks hobnobs.

Don't feel very inspired today, despite it being my day off work. I think sometimes I try and do too much in a day and after a few days I almost reach burnout. With that in mind I think I'll chill out for 20mins or so with lunch and a book before getting on with an hours study (better get on as an assignment due in a week). The dogs are already walked so may even have time for 10 mins tidying up the front garden and a bit of ironing before school pickup.

Need to also hit the shops at some point for stuff to last the weekend - maybe I should put that off til tomorrow when I have time to write a list.
