It would seem that Bisto have stopped producing their chip shop curry sauce granules, or at least I cant find it anywhere, I know they it is full of all sorts of unhealthy stuff but it suited me when I wanted to add a different flavour to something, I could just add a tablespoon to the dish or make up a cup of the sauce.
Does anyone know where I could get something similar, I dont want to make batches of curry sauce, so no recipies please, I just want to buy the granules.

A friend said last week that Asda still had some (but that might just a local one?). Tesco And Sainsburys had stopped stocking it.

Its very tempting to stock up but I am lucky if I use a 200g tub in a year and the one I got today is dated June 2010.0

Sainsbury's sell Wing Yip chinese curry sauce paste which is better IMHO but costs about 1.49 a jar is memory serves. If you have the chinatown near you try a chinese supermarket for something similar.0
