I would try to avoid the full on tan if you can, it can look overly fake against a white dress, especially if you're very pale naturally. If you have to go down that route I agree exfoliate as if your life depended on it & use one of those moisturisers with a hint of tan. Again, if you're very pale dont head for the darkest tan, it will just look silly! Build it up over time, it will help any mistakes. Aim not to try anything new or use someone you don't know close to the day, just incase you have a reaction, or don't like the effect they go for. A friend had her eyebrows plucked by a new beautician just before her wedding & their definition of 'not too thin' was wildly at odds with hers!
Eyelash dyeing seems popular, but only worth it if you're lucky enough to have thick ones, otherwise you'll be glad of the boosting mascaras (water proof of course, cos you will cry at some point!) The idea of an eyelash perm just freaks me out...:o
If you have no real problems just aim for plenty of sleep, eat well, drink LOADS of water, cut back on caffeine & booze. You will be glowing.
I guess you've talked to your hairdresser already? Good luck & have fun!
  • Fake tans don't stain clothes - but as someone else said it is best not to overdo it.

I'm very pale and when I got married in June I used Johnson's tanning moisturiser (the darkest one) and put on two 'coats' and it was perfect.

I also had a French manicure the day before so I had nice nails.

Other than that I didn;t do anything other than my usual routine of exfoliating and moisturising.

ETA - all brides glow so I wouldn;t worry too much!

Gel/Acrylic nails with a plain french manicure, will look nice on the day & be maintenance free for the honeymoon.
Light spray tan, have you thought of zentan?
Flash eyelashes, the new semipermenant ones, my DD had these for her holiday. I think Danielle Lloyd has them, they will look great in photos.
Pedicure if you are wearing sandals, or just because.
Get everything waxed the day or two before.
Eyebrows threaded or waxed & maybe tinted.

Don't have a facial too close to the wedding.

You could also try eyelash exensions. No need to worry about mascara then! They last until your lashes fall out, so can be done weeks before, giving you time to be comfortable witht them. Getting mine on thursady!
    Loving the sunny days!

    Not a DIY thing.

    Salons, healthclubs, beauty therapists, etc.

Look out for it locally or ask in the local salons.

My DD had them done at the local health club.

I will ask her how much it was, I think it was £40 - £60.

They last a few weeks, if you are going on holiday & will be in a pool/sea they will probably not last much longer than the two week hol.

    But they look great.

They look like bambi lashes, they are like hair extensions for eyelashes.
