For the MBing, there is a spreadsheet to record all transactions on, it is great :D

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1139827

You start off by entering the bank amounts and then set up the bookies and move money from bank to bookies.
You can then get it to formulate the bets for you and the figures should agree with the automatcher things.

I'm off now to enter my couple of bets into it and then I can work out my millions :D

My plan is to do it slowly and keep an eye on the bookies offers.

So far, my Betfair and Jaxx have tracked in Quidco ;)

The spreadsheet that is in that thread ^^^^^ is the Ultimatcher (now on version2) it was made by a poster on the GIOL board and I'm finding it good.
It is not linked to anything and has a calculator for working out what you need to lay and when it is set up, it will update itself and keeps a total at each bookie and where your money is.

I started to use it after I had done my first couple of bets, so it took me about an hour to slowly enter everything and check that the figures agreed with my Jaxx account and my Betfair one.

I am happy to email my copy to Buffy or Lou to have a look at and see how it looks as a working model.

  • Right, I have 53.61 in betfair, which is basically the money I had in Jaxx moved over to BF

I also have 25 quid from Jaxx via quidco.

I have made a loss of 39 p but that is fine by me just on cash back alone I am in profit.

must put in a thing about bf on quidco.

    I am very relieved.

But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Well Done Buffy, glad to hear youre having success with the matched betting! Still waiting for my student loan to come through before I get started properly, but it's good in a way in that I'm not rushing into it! Think I understand it mostly and I'm trying a few 'fake' bets out, looking through betfair and coral for example bets and lays etc. Good Luck to everyone else who's getting involved! xx

I'm on the prowl for another victim.
My current free SR (fingers crossed it is SR) is played on Wed, so depending upon the outcome, I could be ready to try another one, or find another bet with this one.

Off to work now, catch you later....
