I guess maybe I should ask that somewhere else sorry just thinking out loud. I shall go read AGAIN
You can. But the bookies often change the signup offer. For example, during the Cheltenham Festival bookies who normally might offer a £50 bonus, will for those 4/5 days offer £250 so it's well worth waiting.0 -
I've just found £30 in an old account. I've closed the account and sent the money to my main current account.

Hello Ladies (I think its all ladies, sorry if there are any lads!)
Been thinking about starting some sort of diary about my quest to save some money, but wasn't sure if it would be of any interest.! Sooo... would it be alright to join in with you ladies and share ideas/tipe etc??
Bit of background if you haven't seen me about... I'm a 21 year old student, got 1 term left of my second year and would love to come out of uni without a maxed out overdraft and with some savings to start some sort of 'real' life! I've posted a couple of times on DFW for help getting my parents and my boyfriend out of debt and if I can get experienced in ways to make extra money then I'd love to be able to pass that on to them as well.
I've been doing surveys for a couple of years now, im signed up to quite a few mystery shopping companies but haven't yet done an assignment. I'm thinking about getting into matched betting but im a bit scared and I'll need to definately wait til my loan comes through on the 20th before I start. I've read the guide through 3 or 4 times now and certainly understand the *concept* but I still don't think I'm ready to take the plunge! Hopefully by the 20th I'll feel a bit more confident.
Also been going to lots of car boots trying to get some bits to sell on Ebay. Not been successful so far, but think I need to get a bit more experienced on what will sell well.
Ive also had EagerLearner's daily click guide kindly emailed to me and will start properly with that once I've signed up to all the no spend offers on the various cashback websites.
I'll be starting the free scratchcards in the next few days too.
Does that sound ok to start off with?
xx
P.S. whoops sorry for the essay!Reclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000 -
Welcome Isabelle!
Just one thing - give me a minute to give the WARNING. don't risk money you might need and DO read the gambling loopholes board!
That aside all your ideas sound fab!
crikey I keep thinking of things to say but then forgetting them instantly.
ooo daily clicks take me years. Must must get back in the routine. MUST. I need every penny I can get at the moment.
and there was something else...........
nope its gone. ok now I really am off to finish tidying and seeing what else I can e bay.......... lots and lots give the junk I own!!!

OK folks, I've just popped over from the MB board. (Don't ask
)
SS has mentioned that there are good and bad times to sign up to various bookies. If you have a look at the spreadsheet below (just look at the UK bookies for starters) you will see that it shows you current offers for bookies (which might be out of date - CHECK THEM before signing up). Almost more important, it shows the bookie's previous best offer. So look at this and judge for yourself whether this good offer is likely to come again. Don't (this is a made up example) sign up to Ladbrokes for a £20 freebie when you could get £200 if you waited until they are feeling generous!
It really is worth reading through parts 1 (read this first, at least 3 times, before going on) 2 and 3 of the introductory threads!
Hope this helps, anyway.

All good plans as they say...............
I have ended up with flu like bug and am typing from my sick bed (OK I am a bit of a drama queen) but I feel like poo:o
Couldnt even go downstairs to talk to MB guru yesterday but I have his email addy:cool:
I had a mystery shop today for £10 which luckily they have agreed to re-schedule till Thursday after an initial no.
On the minus side my boys cannot be taken to their drum lesson today as I cant drive and there isnt anyone else and no bus........as they are pre-paid I will loose £24:mad:But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Well I have just checked my quidco account and the Halifax CC has tracked at £20 but the payday loan £50 has not:mad: too early to put in an enquiry so I must wait until 28th April if it doesnt track. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0

Was sooo mad yesterday...spent 2 hours I could have been playing with dd filling in turbolister for Ebay, got a full suitcase of summer clothes sorted and listed, came back at 8 o clock to upload... only for turbolister to tell me it can't connect
So just had to sit and spend an hour on bloody ebay rewriting everything! Managed to get about half the items listed, will crack on again on thursday, going to pics to see Zac Efron get his top off tomorrow instead!:p
Hope everyone is ok? just gonna go check out that spreadsheet to see who to start my MB off with tomorrow...thanks for that! Had a couple of dry runs, no money involved, asked my questions on the other board, just need to ut my money where my mouth is now!0 -
For the MBing, there is a spreadsheet to record all transactions on, it is great

You start off by entering the bank amounts and then set up the bookies and move money from bank to bookies.
You can then get it to formulate the bets for you and the figures should agree with the automatcher things.
I'm off now to enter my couple of bets into it and then I can work out my millions
My plan is to do it slowly and keep an eye on the bookies offers.
So far, my Betfair and Jaxx have tracked in QuidcoOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
