Hiya
I have tried Qype and Dooyoo, not sure if Qype pay cash (I got vouchers) but Dooyoo pay cash, you have to do around 100 reviews to get £50 I believe and they are very picky, I have spent 2 months wrangling with them continually locking my reviews when I tried to claim my first £25 in Amazon vouchers so I won't be using them again.0 -
I also found DooYoo very picky. Its put me off reviewing with them as I felt my reviews were up to standard (same style as I used on other review sites), yet I got an email to say they had been locked. I haven't got enough patience to read their terms and conditions in order to avoid this, but I heard the rewards (should you stick by the T&C's) are good.
Qype are brilliant when they have their offers on, but otherwise they don't pay for surveys. Recently, they had £50 Amazon and Virgin vouchers for the first so many people who submitted a certain amount of reviews.
YouGov is okay if you have the patience to wait for money as surveys are few and far between. However, at 50p to £1 per survey, its pretty well paid.
Ciao Surveys is one I've used for a few years casually & recently got £6 out of it after all that time. They send you regular surveys but tend to be low paid (unless you are part of a 'specialist' target market) and the ones that tend to look promising, chances are you won't qualify for them.
Hope that helpsI've never made a lot of money from surveys, but then again I don't have all day to do them.
Survey/Review Earnings: You Gov: 1275 points, Ciao Reviews: £8.29, Ciao Surveys: £4.55, Valued Opinions: £6.50. (Updated Sept 09)
Competition Wins: Lush Yum Yum Yum shower gel, Cadbury chocolate box.0 -
You gov - a UK based survey company (used by the media a lot) but you do have to earn over £50 before cashing in and this can be quite slow - I have about £27 for nearly two years work - which by the way when I actually get to £50 they'll probably up the limit to £75 and so on....'you takes your gamble...''Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' : Member number 632

Dooyoo aren't picky, they just have standards. If you want to be paid to do something you should at least meet the criteria (for dooyoo that's 150 words of opinion). If you are willing to put some effort into reviews and can write to a decent standard dooyoo are a good site to join. You actually make more than 50p per review providing you take part in the community. For every member who reads your review you get 1.5p. I make around 1.50 per review.0

Thanks for your advice. I currently use Dooyoo and I fond them to be very good. I've made about £70 in the last 2 months. They pay 50p for areview and when people rate your review you get more so it adds up pretty quickly. They locked some of my review at the start too but as long as you write about 170 words thats usually fine.:j xxxxx:j0

This is great information as I'm just about to be made redundant and will need all the extra income I can get! One more for the moneymaking ideas list!!!0

I've found Dooyoo to be very good and if you have the time a very easy way to make money. I always find if you rate more reviews then you receive you will continue to recieve rates which results in more money. I really would give them ago, it costs nothing to sign up after all. I'll gladly refer you if you like.0
