Lo

My case is going to go to court soon which my ex is not at all happy about and is saying he will go and contest the amount he owes as he is not working, the thing is hes not working and not claiming benefits, he is getting his money from dodgy dealings and working cash inhand for friends, do you think the LO will be granted?

The LO will be granted anyway, whether he goes along and contests it or not!!!!!

His only chance at having it 'adjourned' is to seek quality specialist legal help prior to the LO hearing and to apply for more time pending production of evidence in his defence, but only a specialist can do this - suggest SL or NACSA as point of contact for him

The LO may not be granterd if it covers a time before July 2000 when the law changed!

Roughly 3 months but it depends on how busy the courts are

You need to see the evidence that is put forward by the other side, and sorry that is priviladaged information.
  • The last LO made against my ex took 1 month and this happened last month btw. The government has given them new powers to get a LO administratively and it is also mentioned my Stephen Lawson the solicitor, who specialises in cases with CSA, he wrote an article on 26/4/09 in the Timesonline, unfortunately I am unable to provide at link but google timesonline csa liability orders.

Once they get the LO they can send in the bailiffs or take other action that is my understanding.

    Good Luck
